Alan Beith has joined forces with other MPs to send a message of support and good luck to England's rugby team on the eve of the World Cup final tomorrow night.

Nearly 100 members of Parliament have added their names to the Early Day Motion, sponsored by Mr Beith, which says:

"that this House congratulates the England rugby team on their victory over France on Saturday and wishes them good luck in the Rugby World Cup final against South Africa this weekend."

Alan Beith said

"It has been a thrilling competition so far and England have done well to reach the final. I hope that the team can hold on to the World Championship title."
