Berwick Rangers success put before House of Commons

A motion on the House of Commons order paper congratulates Berwick Rangers on winning the Scottish Third Division Championships and celebrates Berwick's unique status as an English club playing in the Scottish league with support drawn from both sides of the border.

It was tabled by MP Alan Beith, the Club's Honorary President, and has bee n backed by members of the three main parties including neighbouring MP Michael Moore, former Borders MP Michael Ancram and Labour member Ian Gibson, who used to play Scottish league football.
