Beith concerned at loss of Haven Meadows in Shilbottle

Alan Beith MP has expressed his concerns over the decision by Anchor Housing to close the Haven Meadows housing complex in Shilbottle.

Alan said

"My first concern is that the residents find suitable alternative accommodation. I am pleased that Anchor Housing have been working with the residents on this issue.

"My second, and wider, concern, is for the future of the site. There is still a considerable need for social housing in Shilbottle, as in the rest of my constituency, and local people are looking for affordable homes.

"I will be keeping an eye on proposals for the Haven Meadows site."
